Cynthia "Cindy" Leigh Winston

OXFORD: Cynthia "Cindy" Leigh Winston, age 54, died Tuesday February 28, 2012 in Roxboro, NC. She was the daughter of Alexander Gayle and Ann Morton Winston. She was a member of Grassy Creek Baptist Church, a graduate of J. F. Webb High School, attended Atlantic Christian College, where she was a member of the Homecoming Court and an A student. Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday March 3, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the Gentry-neell & Vaughan Chapel by the Rev. Woodrow Freeze. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the memorial services on Saturday. Surviving in addition to her parents are; two sisters, Gayle Winston Glass of Butner and Jeannette Winston Averett of Berea, NC; brother, Alexander Gayle Winston, Jr of Oxford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded ineeath by her grandparents, James and Ruth Winston of Oxford and Royster and Alma Morton of South Boston, Va.
