Ada Mae King

Ada Mae King, a resident of Farrington Rd., died Friday morning, September 1, in Durham Regional Hospital. She was born in Chatham County to the late George Francis and Mattie Cheek Perry. A long-time member of Ephesus Baptist Church, Mrs. King was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harlan L. King of Chapel Hill, NC; her two sons, Jimmy King and wife, June, of Chapel Hill; and Kenneth King and wife, Conee, also of Chapel Hill; her sister, Lucille Vickers of Chapel Hill; and four grandchildren: Keith, Angela, Kelli and Ken. Mrs. King was preceded ineeath by her sister, Hazel Lloyd of Hillsborough. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, September 3, from Ephesus Baptist Church with Reverend Woody Massey presiding. Friends may visit with the family following the service or at their residence located on Farrington Rd.. Flowers are acceptable or contributions may be made to a charity of one
