A woman of southern grace and talent, she was a natural as President of the Welcome Wagon and Garden Clubs. She transformed her love of people and beauty into a successful real estate career spanning over 35 years in Media (PA) and Beaufort (SC).
In her 90 years on earth, Dele’s primary vocation was her family – as a daughter and then wife to Jesse for 61 years. She is survived by her four children - Jay (Polly), Paul, Jim, and Carolyn (Kevin) Morton in addition to seven grandchildren - Jesse (Jenny), Derick (Marissa), Deneen, Meredith (Jesse), Jonathan (Lauren), Catherine, James (Madison), and five great grandchildren – Fitz, Gus, Jack, Jesse and Charlie.
The Schaudies Family is grateful to Rosewood’s professionals and Dele’s friends, who supported Dele and Jim Schaudies, Dele’s primary caregiver. Surely “All Is Well” with Dele’s soul.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Beaufort, SC. A Celebration of Dele's Life is planned for Spring '23.
