Agnes Mary Borowicz-Dziedzic

Agnes Mary Dziedzic, 86, passed away on March 19, 2021 in Cary, North Carolina. She was born January 2, 1935 in Needville, Texas to Steve & Annie Borowicz. Agnes was a long-time member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg, Texas and recent member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Durham, North Carolina.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Floyd Dziedzic, her daughter, Cheryl Murphy and her husband, Timothy, and two granddaughters, Claire and Danica of Durham, North Carolina and her sister, Annie Schilhab, of Needville, Texas as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Martha Rosniak, Gertrude Groth, and Cecilia Jodarski.
Agnes was a beautician and owned her beauty shop, Agnes’ Clip n’ Curl for over 30 years. She was an active member of Holy Rosary Parish and volunteered for many years at the Catholic School. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, listening and dancing to polka music and spending time with her sisters and extended family. For the last six years, she was able to spend quality time with her granddaughters enjoying their various school activities, sport events, and Sunday dinners, but she always missed all of her family, good friends and neighbors in Texas.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 2:30pm at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Durham, NC with Fr. Robby Staley officiating. A Memorial Mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church and internment services at Greenlawn Memorial Park both in Rosenberg, Texas are being scheduled.
Due to Lent and COVID restrictions, flowers are not permitted at this time; please consider making a donation to Holy Rosary Catholic Church or School in Rosenberg, TX or to a charity of your choice in Agnes' name.
