Albert Winston May

OXFORD: A. Winston May, age 83 died Sunday morning at February 19, 2012 at Hospice Home of Alamance in Burlington. He was native of Granville Co. and the son of the late Albert aneeva Hicks May. He was preceded ineeath by his first wife Roslyn Van Dyke May. Winstoneetired as Director of Transportation for the Granville County Schools, after 38 years of service, a member of NCEOP and a member of Woodman of the World. Winston was a member of Bethel Uneed Methodist Church and also attended Emmanuel Uneed Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM oneednesday, February, 22, 2012 at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Chapel by Rev. Neal Salter and Rev. Jason Thornton. Burial will follow ineeadowview Memorial Park. A memorial service will be conducted at Emmanuel Uneed Methodist Church at a later date in Burlington. Surviving is his wife, Frances B. May of Graham; daughters, Barbara Lane Buck of Oxford, Pat Cole of Yanceyville and Debbie Eneebright Clarence of Oxford; son, Arnold Brown Sue of Mebane; brother, Robert "Bob" May Eunee of Oxford; a brother-in-law, William Van Dyke of Oxford; grandchildren, Angela Oakley Andyof Oxford, Jason Lane Tina of Oxford, Marsha Scott Wilson of Midlothian, Va., Denny Cole Nikki of Elon, Jenneer Faircloth Steve of Reidsville, Brandon Eneebright Diana of Rougemont, Nicole Taylor Ryan of Oxford, Kevin Eneebright of Oxford, Suzi Gardner Steve of Graham and Tommy Brown Tammy of Burlington; twenty great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, two nieces and one nephew. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Bethel Uneed Methodist Church, c/o Charles Faulkner, Jr., 4282 Fairport Road, Oxford, NC 27565. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 PM oneednesday, February 22, prior to the service at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home.
