Alice Faye Partin

Alice Faye Partin, age 84, died on November 9, 2021.  She was born on August 16, 1937, to her late parents, Richard Clinton Bridgers and Emily Annie Tunstall Bowman in Granville County, North Carolina.

 Faye was a kind soul who was loved by all. She worked for Burlington Mills and Harriett & Henderson Yarns, Inc. where she retired from and then went to work for John Umstead Hospital in Dietary and retired from there after 11 years. She believed in hard work and family and doted on all her nieces and nephews. She was a faithful member of Oxford Methodist Church, and she loved her church family 

 Faye is survived by her sister, Montie Lou Wilson of Oxford, NC; her sister-in law, Ruth Bridgers of Maryland and many nieces and nephews too numerous to name. She will be greatly missed by many friends and family. 

 Faye was predeceased by her husband, Pete Partin; her brother, J.R. Bridgers and her sister, Shirley Lawrence.

 Public viewing hours for extended family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 12, 2021, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

A graveside service will be held at Meadowview Memorial Park officiated by Reverend Jenny Wilson on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 2:30 pm. Friends may see the family at a visitation at Oxford United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
