Anee Capps Matthews

BULLOCK Anee C. MATTHEWS, age 94 a resident of Bullock died February 19, 2010. She was a native of Vance Co. and was the daughter of the late Clinton and Lucy Shearin Capps. She was the widow of the late James L. "Jim" Matthews. Mrs. Matthews was a housewife and was a member of Bullock Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday February 21, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Gentry neell & Vaughan Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Tony Futrell and the Rev. John Yount. Burial will be in the Royster Cemetery in Bullock. She is survived by one daughter, Peggy M. Hicks of Oxford; two sons, James "Buck" Matthews and Randy Matthews both of Bullock; two sisters, Marie C. Woodard of Glasgow, Kentucky and Ruby C. Parham of Oxford; four brothers, William "Dickie" Capps and Horace Capps both of Bullock, Clintoneeldon Capps and John Douglas Capps both of Henderson; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. She was preceded ineeath by a son, Perry Lewis Matthews, a grandson James "Jamie" Matthews, three brothers, Clinton "Jay" Capps, Herman "Buddy" Capps and Allen Capps. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 7:00 until 8:30 at the Gentry- neell & Vaughan Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of Randy and Barbara Matthews in Bullock.
