Anee Freeman Bowers

Anee Freeman Bowers, age 78, died Saturday, December 25, 2010, at her home on Laurel Mill Rd. in Louisburg, NC. A native of Franklin County, she was born oneebruary 21, 1932 to the late John W. and Minee May Hill Freeman. Anee was a member of Pentecostal Holiness Church. She is survived by three daughters, Pamela Jeaneewitt and husband, Sam; Kay Johnson and husband, Jody; and Fay Allen; one son, Ray Odom; three brothers, A.H. Freeman, Joseph Freeman, and J.W. Freeman, all of Durham; two sisters, Bertha Duke and Ruby Lee Pearce of Wake Forest; five grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; and one adopted daughter, Teresa Messer. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Joe Bowers. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 30, at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton Chapel, 504 E. Mason St. in Franklinton. Her grandson the Reverend Samuel Eugene DeWitt will officiate. Burial will be private in Fairview Cemetery.
