OXFORD: Mrs. Anee Laura Young Brooks age82 died Tuesday April 1, 2008 in Granville Medical Center. A native of Granville Co. and the daughter of the late Willie aneeulie Jones Young. She was a member of Hester Baptist Church and retired from Murdoch Center at Butner, NC. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday April 4, 2008 from Hester Baptist Church by Dr. Ladelle Waters and Rev. Leslie Giles. Burial will follow in Church Cemetery. Surviving are one son, Ronee Brooks Marcia of Oxford: One grand-son Brian Brooks Angi, of Oxford. One Great Granddaughter, Kamryn Brooks. Two sisters, Marion Young Critcher, of Oxford and Mary Lou Young Jones, of Roxboro. Half Sister-In-Law, Candace Huff Young. of Oxford. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Hester Baptist Church, PO Box 964, Oxford NC 27565. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Marsh Ray Brooks and a daughter Deborah Brooks Blackwell. Visitation for the family will be from 7 to 8:30 PM Thursday April 3, 2008 from Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home, 503 College Street, Oxford NC and at other time at the home of Ronee and Marcia Brooks, 2545 Joe Pruitt Road, Oxford NC.
