Ann Franklin Pollok

Ann Franklin Pollok, 83, of Durham died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the Hock Family Pavilion. Born in Danville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Robert William Franklin and Mabel Chick Franklin. She was a 1949 graduate of Duke Nursing School and retired from Durham Regional Hospital. Surviving are two sons, Richard Steven Pollok of Ashburn, VA and Kenneth Alan Pollok and wife LeAnne of Oxford, NC; four grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Morris Pollok; and two brothers, Melvin and Robert Franklin. The family will visit with friends on Thursday evening 6-8 PM at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Durham. A graveside service will be held 2 PM Friday at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Randall Floyd officiating.
