Mrs.Frances Anneeckler Jestes, 60, of Chapel Hill, NC went home to be with God on August 14th, 2011 after a courageous fight with melanoma cancer at Beacon Place in Greensboro. Born June 25th, 1951 in Guilford County, Ann was the oldest of four daughters of William Francis Seckler and Grace Anneeckler. She attended High Point City Schools and obtained an educationeegree from Appalachian State Uneersity. Anneeganeer career teaching middle school in Davidson County and then taught at Horton Middle School in Chatham County until her health declined. Teaching was one of Ann's greatest passions and she was well loved by her coworkers and the many students whose lives she touched. She enjoyed gardening, antique shopping, dancing and her many cats. Ann is survived by her husband, Roger Clintoneestes of 27 years, her daughter, Rebekah Anne Jestes, her grandchildren, Michael Clinton Whitt, Anna Alexis Jestes and Alexander Lee Carroll, all of Chapel Hill. She is also survived by her parents, Bill and Grace Anneeckler of High Point and her three sisters, Susan Gordon Ross of Matthews, NC, Kathy Weekly Joe of High Point and Julie Goff Frank of Gladys, VA along with many nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Anneeckler Jestes will be held at the Hall-Wynne Funeral Home, 396 West Street, Pittsboro, NC on Thursday, August 18th, 2011 at 3:00pm. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society and Greensboro Hospice, Beacon Place. Arrangements are under the care of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Pittsboro.
