Arch Gill Clark

August 3, 1924 — January 10, 2010

Arch Gill Clark, son of the late Vione aneernest Clark passed away Sunday, January 10, 2010 peacefully with his family at Rex Hospital. A true and faithful servant, he was born on August 3, 1924 in Chatham County. Born to be a farmer, he loved being on his tractor and was most comfortable there. He retired from his position as Surplus Maneer at UNC in 1991. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lois; soneeuben and wife Kathie of Cary, NC; daughter Sharoneebb and husband Jet of Merritt Island, FL; daughter Ruby Thornton and husband Ray of Holly Springs, NC. He has 7 grandchildren; Stephanie, Melanie, and Lauren Clark; Lineey and Sabrina Webb; Trevor and Jacob Thornton; God son and God granddaughter Phil Smith and Brooke. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded ineeath by his brothers Fred Clark and Roy Clark, and sister Louise Lasater. Services will be held at Bells Baptist Church, Apex, NC oneednesday, January 13, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 12, 2010 from 6:30 8:30 pm at Bells Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be given to the Bells Baptist Church fellowship building fund 1274 Farrington Rd. Apex, NC 27523 Attn: Fellowship building fund.
