Barbara Lee Waldmann died December 27, 2016 in Durham, NC. Born in Michigan to the late George and Phyllis Robin.?? Barbara recently celebrated her 77th birthday. Barbara was a graduate of the Providence School of Nursing Detroit, Michigan, Bachelor of Arts from Siena Heights Uneersity Adrian, Michigan, and the Wyandotte Hospital School of Anesthesia, Wyandotte, Michigan where she received her Nurse Specialist Certification in anesthesia, CRNA. She loved to sing and was a church choir member as well as a member of the Harmonie Society Women???s Choirs. Spending time with her family was most important to her and she relished every opportunity to turn occasions into family reunions. To this end a residence on Lake Huron in Michigan and in Durham N.C. was maintained to be close to children and grandchildren aneentertain extended family and friends Barbara is survived by her loving and devoted husband of almost 53 years, Deacon William L. Waldmann of Oscoda Mi. and Durham, NC; her three daughters, Lisa Waldmann and husband, Todd Palmer, of Swepsonville, NC; Elaine Grejda and husband, Steven, of Rochester Hills, MI; and Kristina Waldmann and husband, John Roach, of Northville, MI; two sisters, Georgianne Goch of Allen Park, MI; and Phyllis Redmond and husband, Michael, of Grand Rapids, MI; and six grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered Tuesday, January 3??at 10:00 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Chapel Hill, NC. Friends may visit with family following mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barbara???s memory may be made to the St. Vincent?? DePaul Society.??
