Beatrice "Bea" Mitchell Watts of Franklinton died Tuesday evening, August 5, 2008, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 71 years old. Bea was born in Franklin County to the late James Edgar and Marjorie Moore Mitchell. She was a longtime member of Franklinton Uneed Methodist Church and was employed with Westinghouse Corp. before her retirement in 1995. Bea is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, David E. Watts of Franklinton, NC; her daughter, Cindy Mobley and husband, Don, of Franklinton; her granddaughter, Maggie Mobley of Franklinton; and her brother, Douglas Mitchell and wife, Janet, of White Level, NC; and one niece, Anna Martin Parrish of Louisburg, NC. She was preceded ineeath by her sister, Edna Woodlief. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 8, 2008 from Franklinton Uneed Methodist Church with Rev. Luis Reinoso, Rev. David Averette and Rev. Daniel Jenks presiding. Entombment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Thursday evening from 7:00-9:00 PM at Franklin Funeral Service, 504 E.
