Beatrice Ercell Young Daniel

OXFORD: Beatrice Ercell Y. Daniel, a resident of Whitmore Retirement Home died March 18, 2012. A native of Granville Co. and was the daughter of the late Luther Hammett Newton and Myrtle Puryear Newton. She was the widow of the late Chester A. Young and W. Wilson Daniel. Ercell was a retired Nursing assistant at Granville Hospital and a member of Stovall Baptist Church. Private graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday March 20, 2012 in Stovall Memorial cemetery by Rev. Neil Woodlief. Surviving are, two daughters, Annette Y. Whitt of Oxford and Pat Y. Rohman of Raleigh, two step-daughters, Dr. Dianne Daniel of Norfolk, Va. and Barbara D. Harbinson of South Boston, Va.; four grandchildren, one step-grandson and five great grandchildren and one step-great granddaughter; one sister, Pauline N. Greenway of Oxford. The family will receive friends following the graveside services. At other times they will be at the home of Annette and George Whitt.
