Betty Imogene Williams Hunter

Raleigh ??? Mrs. Betty Imogene Williams Hunter, 89, died Sunday April 9 at Transitions Hospice in Raleigh after a brief illness. Betty was borneeptember 1, 1927 in Coats, North Carolina to the late Almon and Betty Turner Williams. She was preceded ineeath by her seven siblings. Mrs. Hunter was a 1975 graduate of Douglas College, Rutgers Uneersity. She is survived by her children, Robert M. Hunter of Limestone, ME, Claire S. Hunter of Raleigh, NC, Rev. Karl W. Hunter, and his wife, Beth, of Pulaski, VA, Thomas A. Hunter, and his wife, Marina of Raleigh; grandchildren, Sarah H. King, and her husband, Dr. Scott King of Charleston, WV, Katherine W. Hunter of Washington, DC, Anneee W. Hunter of Washington, DC, Dalia H. Montgomery and her husband, Derek of Provo, UT, Dinee. Hunter of Raleigh, Alexander W. Hunter of Raleigh, Katherine D. Hunter of Raleigh. A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 2:00pm at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens, 770 Stadium Drive, Wake Forest, NC. Officiating will be Betty???s son, Rev. Karl Hunter. The family will receive visitors Wednesday evening from 7-8pm at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 1113 W. Main Street, Durham. Flowers are welcome.
