Beverly Belvin Roycroft

Beverly Belvin Roycroft, 92, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. A Durham native, Beverly was borneeptember 1, 1922 to the late Dock Durham Belvin and Nettie Beverly Belvin. A graduate of Braggtown High School. Beverly attended Brevard College. She worked at Wachovia Bank for many years. Beverly was a longtime and devoted member of St. Paul Uneed Methodist Church in Durham. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and her dogs. Beverly was an avid and dedicated Duke fan. Beverly is survived by her loving son, William Roycroft and wife, Linda of Durham; two granddaughters, Laurie Brown and husbaneevan of Hurdle Mills, Jessica Roycroft of Durham; two great grandchildren, Austin and Landon Brown of Hurdle Mills. She was preceded ineeath by a son, George Belvin Roycroft; her husband Chester Roycroft; three brothers, Herman E. Belvin, George Belvin, William P. Belvin; two sisters, Janet Belvin Ashe aneeleanor B. Hobgood. Private burial at Maplewood Cemetery, Durham.
