Beverly ???Kay??? Leonard

Beverly ???Kay??? Leonard, age 54, of Chapel Hill, NC died Monday, December 22, 2014. Kay is the daughter of Carl Dean (Victoria) Purdin and the late Madge Eileen Arnold. Kay worked for UNC Hospital for over 18 years. Her most important job in life was being a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son, Jasoneeonard of Chapel Hill, NC; a daughter, Patricia Stamper of Chapel Hill; brothers, Timothy (Sadie) Purdin of Georgetown, KY, Tedd (Crystal) Purdin of Waverly, OH, Bob (Wendy) Purdin of Mt. Orab, OH, Sam (Dendele) of Wineester, OH, Chris Arnold of West Union, OH, and Chad Purdin of Hillsboro, OH; sisters, Sherry (Eugene) Francis of Maneester, OH, Angela (Terry) Lawmill of Tennessee, and Kelly (Mike) Brown of Waverly, OH; a step mother, Francine Purdin of Peebles OH and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, Kay is preceded ineeath by a sister, Annette Sue Purdin and a brother, Dennis Dean Purdin. A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 2 pm at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home Griffin Chapel. The family is hosting a reception following the service.
