Billie And Joy Nagy

Billie Nagy, 87, and Joy Nagy, 83, of Bullock, NC died tragically Friday, neember 16, 2018. Born August 16, 1931, in Prudence, WV, Billie was the son of the late Sam aneemma Nagy.?? Born October 29, 1935, in Buckhannon, WV, Joy was the daughter of the late Othel and Alda Welch. Billie and Joy were married on April 3, 1960 and made their home in Ashtabula, OH.?? Billie was a veteran of the US Armed Forces serving as a paratrooper in the Korean War and later as a Master Sergeant in the National Guard.?? He was retired from Clevelaneelectric Illuminating Company where he was employed as a result engineer. Joy was employed as a bookkeeper with Joe Timonee Insurance and later as a homemaker.?? Billie was an avid football fan with his favorite team being the Pittsburgh Steelers and also enjoyed working on cars in his spare time.?? Joy loved gardening and spending time outdoors.?? Both Billie and Joy were faithful to their church community serving at the Christian Life Academy and Women???s Aglow Group in Ashtabula and attended the Stovall Church of God in Oxford. Billie and Joy are survived by their daughter, Vanessa Rachele Nagy Milligan (fianc?? Eric) of Bullock, NC; son, Bill Nagy (Amy) of Trinity, NC; grandchildren, Megan, Morgan and Madison Milligan. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, neember 24, 2018, at 1:00 pm from the Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel, 503 College Street, Oxford, NC.?? A time of visitation will begin at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.?? Immediately following the funeral service, the family would like to invite guests to join them for a reception at the Grassy Creek Community Center, 9121 Grassy Creek Rd., Bullock, NC 27507. A private cremation and burial service will follow at a later time. Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions be made in Billie and Joy???s nee to the Stovall Church of God, 3554 Little Mountain Creek Rd, Oxford, NC 27565.
