Billy H. Bunn

Billy H. Bunn 82, died October 27, 2015. He was a native of Zebulon and son of the late William E. and Thelma Hinton Bunn. He was a veteran on the Korean conflict serving in the US Army and he attended NC State Uneersity. Billy was a retired employee with the USDA in Oxford with 39 years of service. He coached and mentored with the Oxford Parks and Recreationeepartment. He also voluneered with the Masonic Home for Children for many years. He was a member of Oxford Baptist Church and the Oxford Lions Club. Surviving are three sons, William ???Chip???H. Bunn of Fuquay Varina, Kenneth G. Bunn (Kerry) of Raleigh, and Brian L. Bunn (Christy) of Oxford; 9 grandchildren, Tyler, Haley, Hannah, Ethan, Taylor, Meghan, Caelyn, Lila Grace, and Lineey. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, October, 31 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Oxford Baptist Church by Reverend Chris Aho. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM prior to the service in the Family Life Center at the Church. Burial will follow at Meadowview Memorial Park with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Meghan Smiles Foundation, 105 Hickory Glen Lane, Holly Springs, NC 27540. Arrangements for the Bunn family are being taken care of by Gentry neell & Vaughan Funeral Home of Oxford.
