Brandon Forrest Rawlins

Brandon Forrest Rawlins, age 41, of Durham, NC, was borneeptember 13, 1977 in Charlotte, NC. He graduated from Ledford High School and attended Guilford Tech Community College while educating himself to become an automotive technician. He moved to Durham and worked at Crown Honda for many years before finally becomineemployed at Mark Jacobson Toyota, where he became friends with everyone there and with everyone along the way in his career under the hood. Brandoneet his wife Michelle in Durham and they were married in Minnesota on June 26, 2010. ??They had an amazing 8 years together and they were blessed with two beautiful children, Dani Mae and Henry. Brandon had the biggest heart and most sincere spirit and would offer help to anyone at the drop of a hat. ??He enjoyed time with his family, working on cars, and being outside with his kids. He is proceeded ineeath by his father, Marion ???Smokey??? Rawlins. ??He is survived by his wife, Michelle; daughter Dani, age 6, and soneenry, age 3; sister, Julia (Jae) Skaggs and nephews, Ben and Liam of Greensboro; mother, Treva Pike of High Point, and half-brother, Scott Reineein ??and niece Sterling of Charlotte as well as extended family in Minnesota. Let us carry forward the lessons he left, not the sadness we feel. ??May we learn from his ability to befriend anyone and to consistently smile, laugh aneengage life to the fullest, always with a warm heart. Visitation vigil is at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service in Durham, NC on Thursday, December 20, 2018, from 5-7 p.m. A funeral mass for Brandon will be Friday, December 21, 2018, at 12 noon at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Durham, NC. The family welcomes everyone to a reception in the church fellowship hall following the service.
