Mr. Calvin Thomas Eakes Jr. age 62 of 101 Quailridge Road died Friday September 26, 2008 at Granville Medical Center. A native of Granville Co. and the son of the late Calvin Thomas Eakes Sr. and Cozette Hobgood Eakes. A member of Enon Baptist Church. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P. M. Monday September 29, 2008 from Mt. Creek Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. J. Lemar Wheeler. Surviving are two sons, Calvin T. Eakes III, and wife Holly, of Creedmoor, NC and Stepheneee Eakes, of Oxford NC. One sister, Mrs. Mildred Eakes Lister and husband Thomas of Oxford NC.One grandchild, Hailey Eakes. Three Aunts, Alma Yancey, of Bullock, NC and Helen Hobgood, of Oxford NC aneethel Duneey, of Roxboro, NC. Several nieces and nephews.
