Carol Poe Worrell

Carol Poe Worrell, 69, formerly of Pittsboro, NC died Monday, December 31, 2012 in Lansdale, PA. She retired from the Uneerity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Grants Administrator with over 20 years of service. She was a graduate of Central Carolina Community College with an Associate Degree in Accounting. She was also a voluneer EMT for the East Chatham Rescue squad. Born at Watts Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, she was the daughter to the late James C. Poe and Anee Logan Poe. She is survived by her daughter Renee Worrell-Samoil of Ambler, PA and many loving family members and friends. A service to honor her life will be held 11:00AM at Hanks Chapel Uneed Church of Christ in Pittsboro. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
