On August 13, 2024, Carolyn Lamb Stallings of Oxford peacefully passed away at the age 85, answering the divine call to reunite with our Father in heaven. Born to the late James Bratty Lamb and Dula Todd Lamb in the serene lands of Robeson County, NC, Carolyn's earthly journey was one of grace and kindness.
She now joins her beloved husband, Jarman E. Stallings, and her dear parents in eternal rest. Carolyn's spirit lives on through her devoted son, Seth Stallings and his wife Myra, and her cherished daughter, Eve Dibble, joined in matrimony to Todd. Her legacy further endures through her grandchildren, Josh Stallings with Dane, Katy Dibble, and Mike Dibble. Additionally, Carolyn leaves behind a multitude of friends and a vast extended family, a testament to the warmth of her heart and the breadth of her relationships.
To honor Carolyn's life and legacy, a graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery in Nashville, NC, on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 3:00 pm, under the ceremonial guidance of Dr. Reverend Brett Pardue. The family will be available for visitation from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Gentry-Newell & Vaughan in Oxford, NC, preceding the service.
