Catherine Brooks Adcock

Oxford: Catherine Brooks Adcock, 82, of Oxford passed away Monday February 1, 2016. She was a native of Granville County, the daughter of the late Alvis B. Brooks and Alice Clark Connell. Catherine was a lifelong member of Hester Baptist Church and a homemaker. Surviving are her husband of 65 years Charles N. Adcock and her daughter Patricia Adcock Day, both of Oxford. Mrs. Adcock was predeceased by her son-in-law George Ivey Day. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday February 4, 2016 in the Funeral Chapel of Gentry ??? neell & Vaughan Funeral Home by Reverend Alex Gallimore. Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm ??? 2:00 pm prior to the service at the Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Patricia Day, 609 East Spring St., Oxford, NC.
