Catherine Critcher Laws

Oxford: Catherine Critcher Laws, 90, of Oxford entered her new home ineeaven on Tuesday January 19, 2016 and is now worshipping her Lord and Savior ineeaven. Catherine was a native of Granville County, the daughter of the late Albert and Grace Burnette Critcher, and the widow of Taylor Laws. Catherine was a member of Sharon Baptist Church, a well knowneeamstress in the area, and her hospitality and good home cooking were enjoyed and appreciated by her family as well as her community. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Thursday January 21, 2016 at Sharon Baptist Church by Reverend Vernon Wilkerson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the service in the sanctuary of the church. Surviving are her daughters Sarah Jean Vaughan (David) of Apex, Nancy Laws Roberson of Wake Forest, Norma L. Moore (Ronee) of Madison, Maine, her son Albert Taylor Laws (Shelia) of Oxford, her grandchildreneeff (Christene), Ruby, Jesse, Rose, Danielle, Mark (Melanie), Nathan, Timothy, Titus, Sophia, Seth, Silas, Kimberly (Brad), Olivia, Kellum, Robby (Terrie), Sara, Hunter, Carol (Enrique), Maya, Nicolas, Patricia, Kayra, Hunter, Roger (Christena). Catherine was predeceased by four sisters Mary Lee, Betty Sue, Francis, aneestelle. Memorials may be made to Sharon Baptist Church, 6746 Goshen Rd., Oxford, NC 27565.
