Oxford: Charles D. Crumpler, Sr., 79, of Creedmoor, NC and formerly of Oxford, NC died Tuesday, neember 8, 2016. He was borneeptember 21, 1937 to Johneenry and Clyde Crumpler. Charles is survived by his son, Charles David Crumpler, Jr.; brother, John Crumpler; and close friend, Peggy Lawrence. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Charles is predeceased by his wife, Mary Elizabeth ???Sudy??? Currin Crumpler. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, neember 12, 2016 at 11:30 am from the chapel at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home, 503 College St., Oxford. Burial will immediately follow in the Hester Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
