Mrs. Claudia Walters Foushee, 78, died ineer Tobacco Road home on August 4, 2010. Born in Alamance County on May 10, 1932, she was a daughter of Richard D. Walters and Lola C. Herron Walters, both of whom preceded Mrs. Foushee ineeath. Mrs. Foushee was retired from Chatham Hosiery Mills, and had previously worked for Carr Mills. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Uneed Methodist Church. Survivors include her sons, Larry Smith of Pittsboro, Robert Manring of Roxboro, Jimmy Manring and Teddy Manring, both of Pittsboro; daughters, Louise Lefler of Pittsboro, Amanda Witting of Zebulon, Donna Bass of Chapel Hill and Kathy Manring of Pittsboro; two brothers, Floyd Walters of Florida and Clarence Walters of Pittsboro; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Foushee was preceded ineeath by her husband, Alfred Jordan Foushee, who died June 14, 2010. The service to celebrate Mrs. Foushee
