Mrs. Cubie Johnson Wrenn, 72, of Bynum Church Road in Bynum died Tuesday morning, April 15, 2008 at Chatham Hospital in Siler City. A lifelong native of Bynum, Cubie was born October 19, 1935, to James Hobart Johnson and Tranee McDuffie Johnson. She had worked for Odell Mills, and was retired from the Chatham County School System. Mrs. Wreneenjoyed fishing, and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildreneearly. She was a member of Bynum Uneed Methodist Church. Mrs. Wrenn is survived by her husband, Ollie Wrenn; a son, Calvin Wrenn; daughters, Janette Wrenn McCall, Bonee Wrenneeonard, and Abby White, all of Bynum, and Sharon Rowe of Oklahoma; a sister, Janie Suttles of Chapel Hill; seven grandchildren, aneeleven great-grandchildren. Her parents; a daughter, Gail White; and a brother, James Allen Johnson, all preceded her ineeath. The service to celebrate Mrs. Wrenn's life will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Bynum Uneed Methodist Church, with the Rev. Chuck Winner presiding.
