Durham – Dana Wayne Ashley, age 50, died at UNC Hospice Home on December 27, 2020. He was born on March 12, 1970 to Deborah Jean Hynes and Danny Thomas Ashley.
Dana is survived by his mother, Deborah Jean Hynes; sons, Dwayne Ashley, Jeremiah Ashley, and Michael Ashley; daughter, Asia Ashley and grandchildren, Alijah Ashley-Brown, Marley Byrd-Ashley, Kairo Byrd-Ashley and Aziyah Ashley-Alexander. Dana was preceded in death by his father, Danny Ashley.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Durham, NC. Guests are required to wear a face covering and social distance.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SECU Hospice House - 100 Roundtree Way, Pittsboro, NC 27312.
The Ashley family is under the care of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service.
