Daniel "Dan" Taylor Hester

OXFORD: Daniel "Dan" Taylor Hester, age 42, died Sunday, April 26, 2009 ineeVey, Switzerland. He was a native of Granville County and graduated from Webb High School in 1986 and attended Vance-Granville Community College. He was the son of Joan Powell Hester and Duward Hester of Oxford. Dan lived in Washington, DC and VeVey, Switzerland with his partner of 13 years Duane Mauney with Phillip Morris International. Surviving in addition to his parents, is his grandmother Clara Hester of Oxford; one brother, Neill Rhonda Hester of Bullock, NC; special niece Hannah; unee Maurice Polly Hester of Oxford; seven aunts, Elsie Fitz, Gracie Fletcher, Luna Clark, Janie Carver, Lucille Denny, Alice Chambers and Shirley Sneed and many cousins. He is preceded ineeath by his grandfather Crawford Hester. Memorial service will be held at a later date.
