Daniel Leszczak

Daniel Leszczak, 65, died on September 30, 2023 in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was a longtime resident of New Jersey, and lived for most of his life in Point Pleasant and Hopatcong before moving to North Carolina to be near his children and grandchildren.

Dan was the beloved son of Nicholas (Mickey) and Ellen (Allen) Leszczak, who predeceased him. He is survived by his son Daniel and his wife Jessica Lee, and his daughter Nichole (Leszczak) Weller and her husband Doug; and grandchildren Serenity (Hester) Waddell and her husband Jackson of Colorado Springs, CO; and Mia, Ella, Anthony, Aidan, and Carter, all of Raleigh. Dan also leaves his sister Jaqueline (Leszczak) Stone and her husband Thomas of Tewksbury, Massachusetts. He is lovingly remembered by his many cousins and friends across the country, and by his longtime family friend and kidney donor, Sister Noreen Neary, Sisters of Charity of New Jersey.

Dan attended Point Pleasant High School and Ocean County College. During his career in engineering and robotic manufacturing systems he worked at various firms including Joyce Molding and American Instants, in the Rockaway, NJ area. He was an avid NASCAR fan who also enjoyed auto restoration projects and deep-sea fishing.

A private memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016, www.kidney.org, in Dan’s memory would be appreciated by his family.
