On Thursday, neember 29, 2018, Daniel M. McGinty, loving husband of Dorothy?? (Driskel) passed away at the age of 74 in his home in Durham, NC. He was borneeptember 24, 1944, in Buffalo, NY.???? He married Dorothy on August 3, 1968. He is survived by his children; Kelly (Kyle) Hallmets, and Daniel (late Shawna) ??McGinty Jr.?? His grandchildren Margaret aneevelyne Hallmets.?? April and Jon Ritter and Brittnay McFarland.?? His sisters Susan (Kurt) Bingham and Maureen (Glenn) Deverell.???? In-laws Margaret (James) Walsh, ??Aneew Driskel (late Terry), Mary (Frank) Biracree, Paul (Bonee) Driskel, James (Debbie) Driskel, and Anne (Wayne) Brandt.?? Many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was a lifetime member of Knights of Columbus and the Knights of St. John, and Alhambra. A funeral mass will be held at St. Matthew???s Catholic Church (1001 Mason Rd?? Durham ) oneecember 4, 2018 at 12 noon. Visitation 11 am - 12 pm prior to mass in the narthex. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. All are welcome to a reception in the church fellowship hall after the services.
