Daphine Peneeton Preddy

FRANKLINTON: Daphine Peneeton Preddy, age 75 died January 16, 2015 in Franklineedical Center. She was a native of Franklin Co. and was the daughter of the late Ernest Morris and Mary Helen Ross Peneeton. Daphine was a retired Mental Health Technician at John Umstead Hospital in Butner, NC and a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Surviving is her husband of 56 years, Joseph A. (Buddy) Preddy; son Rodney Preddy of Franklinton, NC (April Cobb of Roxboro, NC); daughter, Janet Legg (Sam) of South Hill, Va.; grandchildren, Ashli Legg, Casey Preddy, Hunter Legg, Johnee Scott and Steveneegg; several great grandchildren. She was preceded ineeath by a brother Leroy Peneeton. No services are planned. The family will receive friends at the home in Franklinton, NC.
