Darrell Medlin

Darrell Eric Medlin, 65, died Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Louisburg Nursing Center. Born in Vance County, Darrell was the son of the late Eric L. and Maude Pernell Medlin. Until his health declined, Darrell enjoyed fishing and hunting. Surviving are his wife, Sandra Ayscue Medlin of Franklinton; his son, Jasoneedlin of Franklinton; his daughter, Melissa Medlineeight of Durham; his sister, Hope Coats (Freddie) of Franklinton; and two grandchildren, Zackery Height and Davis Nichols. In addition to his parents, he was preceded ineeath by his granddaughter, Abigail Nichols. Friends may visit Wednesday evening, August 27th, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 504 E. Mason St. in Franklinton. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude???s Children???s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
