David Lester Seagroves

David Lester Seagroves, 84, of Buddy Drive, Apex, died October 25 at UNC Hospital. He was born January 29, 1923 in Chatham County, the son of Julius Jacksoneeagroves and Ronie Goodwineeagroves. Mr. Seagroves was a retired truck driver; and was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Retha Kelley Seagroves; sons and daughters-in-law, David Allen and Stella Seagroves of Apex, James L. "Buddy" and Pam Seagroves of Pittsboro; daughters and son-in-law, Jackie S. Stone of Concord, Kelly and Mario Rieck of Fuquay-Varina. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Griffin Funeral Service in Pittsboro. The family will hold a private committal service at a later date.
