Diane was a most loving wife, mother, sister, friend, aunt, and grandmother. She was a generous host and neighbor, and aneenthusiastic baker. Diane was an expert bridal pattern maker ineer beloved New York City. Above all, she knew how to make people feel special and welcome. Her wisdom, warmth and positivity live on in all those whose lives she touched. Diane is survived by her husband of 48 years, Edward Paul??Zaccardi; daughter Anne Zaccardi (Barbara); son David Zaccardi (Christine), and beloved granddaughters Cadence and Lily; sister Elizabeth Giron (Otto), brother Walter Heizenroth (Pauline), and sister Ingrid; cherished nieces Christine, Jenneer, and Sarah and nephew Walter August II,??dear friends Anne and Roger Armstrong;??aneextended family. She was preceded ineeath by her father Walter August Heizenroth and her mother Betty Lane.
