She was the daughter of the late George Lacy Russell and Doris Haley Russell. She was a former waitress and a member of the Living Stones Church of God in Oxford. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 12, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Living Stones Church of God by the Pastor Milton Abbott. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton. She is survived by her husband, Harold Wayne Thompson; two sons, Anthony Wayne Thompson and Brianeeith Thompson both of Franklinton; a brother George Lacy Russell, Jr. of Bunn. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Hall Wynne Funeral Home in Franklinton. At other times they will be at the home.
