Dollie Woodlief Elliott, 91, of Oxford, passed away oneednesday, March 18, 2015 at Brantwood Nursing Center in Oxford. Mrs. Elliott was a lifelong resident of Northern Granville as well as a lifelong member of Sharon Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. Early in Mrs. Elliott???s life, she assisted her husband in the running of the family farm and country store. She theneent to work for IDEAL Fastners for almost thirty years. Dollies proudest achievement in life was being a loving wife and caring mother and grandmother. She is preceded ineeath by her husband, Floyd Elliott; two brothers, Wallace Woodlief and Joel Woodlief, Jr.; and a sister Mabel W. Blackwell. Mrs. Elliot is survived by her two sons; Ronee Elliott and his wife Mildred of Creedmoor, NC and Gleneelliott and his wife Grace of Rougemount, NC; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Myrtie Daniels of Hopewell, VA aneellen W. Clack also of Hopewell, VA; and a brother, Kenneth Woodlief of Oxford. The family will be gathering at the home of Ronee Elliott at 2537 Granville Drive in Creedmoor, NC. A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 12:30-2:00 pm at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home, with a funeral service following at 2pm. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Oxford, NC. Memorial contributions may be made to Sharon Baptist Church, 6746 Goshen Road, Oxford, NC 27565 or flowers are welcomed at the funeral home. Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home is serving the Elliott family.
