DURHAM-Dolores Joaneestito McDunnah, 68, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness at Duke Memorial Hospital oneebruary 12, 2013. She was born May 31, 1944 ineew York City, NY Joaneetired in 2007 from GTE/Verizon after 30 years. She enjoyed crocheting, the beach, cooking Italian food, soap operas, reading, and traveling to spending time with family and friends. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends in Connecticut, Ohio, Texas, and the Carolina's. Joan is survived by her loving husband, Brent Owen McDunnah; her daughter, Christina Maria Walkup Brown and husband, Lance of Durham; her grandson, Nicholas Christopher Thompson, and granddaughter, Brittani Nicole Johnson; her brother-in-law, Gregg Alan McDunnah and partner, Wayne Lee Richardson of Blythewood, SC; her sister-in-laws, Holly Gay McDunnah Frantz and husband, Richard of Piqua, OH; Wendy May McDunnah Watt and husband, Steven of Ridgeway, SC; Darcy Sue Corliss of Columbia, SC and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 10:30am Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service with Fr. Dave Devlin, OSFS presiding.
