Doris Mason Hunn

Mrs. Doris M. Hunn, 90, died Friday, January 9, 2009 at home. Mrs. Hunn was born in Rochester, NY on March 31, 1918, the daughter of Charles Robert Mason and Mabel Cocket Mason. Mrs. Hunn was a retired executive legal secretary. She moved to Siler City in 2007. Surviving are her daughters, Carol Bogart of Siler City and Linda Friedel of South Daytona, FL; 6 grandchildren, Shannon Monteiro, Michelle Powers and Richard Bogart all of Siler City, and Jason Bogart of Burlington, NC, Tonya Day of Columbia, TN, and Donny Olmstead of Pompano Beach, FL;12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Phyllis Titus and Jean Mason both of Rochester, NY. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Oakley Baptist Church in Siler City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Community Home Care and Hospice, 1414 E.
