Dorothy R. Johnson

Mrs. Dorothy R. Johnson, 75, died on Sunday, August 3, 2008. Dorothy was born in Durham to the late Eva Wilkins aneernest Roberts on April 10, 1933. Dorothy was a wonderful woman and a pleasure to be around. Her funeersonality and great sense of humor helped cultivate so many meaningful relationships that will continue to endure. Because of her sweet nature, she was a great source of friendship to many of the children that she worked with as well as any oneelse that she had the opportunity to spend time with. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and the Agape Sunday School Class. She was also a Graduate of Mangum High School. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband J. Fulton Johnson aneeleven other siblings. She is survived by her sister Margaret R. Boothe and husband Junior; and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM oneednesday, August 6, 2008 from the chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 1113 West Main St. Durham. The Rev. Don Chasteen will officiate. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1PM to 2 PM at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service.
