Edsel Bowling Terry, age 90, died peacefully at his home on Thursday morning, December 29. A Durham native, he was born to the late Joseph D. and Sudie Poole Terry oneecember 8, 1921. Edsel proudly served his country in the U.S. Army aneearned the rank of Master Sergeant, 98th Bombardment Group, 415th Bombardment Squadron. He attended Mt. Lebanon Primitive Baptist Church in Durham. Edsel enjoyed music throughout his entire life and was an accomplished musician aneextraordinary fiddler. He was a young 13 year old whenee played the fiddle at his first square dance. Edsel is survived by his two sisters, Katherine Terry Mangum of Bahama, NC; Elizabeth Terry Henderson of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his double first cousin, Mary Ruth Terry Mebane of Hillsborough; and neerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded ineeath by his wife, Ramie B. Terry; and his son, Stephen B. Terry. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 31, at Mt. Lebanon Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Bobby Daughtry presiding. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may visit Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service in Durham. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt.
