Edward Ej Jenkins Hart, Iii

Oxford EJ Hart III, age 69 of Oxford, died Friday, April 26, 2013. A native of Granville Co, he was the son of the late Ed J Hart Jr. and Vivian Royster Hart, grandson of Jenkins and Hettie Pittard Hart. He graduate from Oak Hill High School and was a member of Mt. Creek Baptist Church, retired as associate director of engineering at Durham Regional Hospital and the former owner of Hart Electric and Plumbing. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, April 29, 2013 at Mt. Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Johnny Richards and Rev. Lemar Wheeler. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving is his wife of 28 years, Susan Hicks Hart; his son, Charles Edward "Chip" Hart of Clarksville, VA; his daughters, Jan Elizabeth Hart of Oxford, Robynne Frances Hart Williams of Oxford; brother, Carroll Royster Hart of Oxford, Steve Allen Hart of Portsmouth, NH; his sister, Jane Hart Robinson of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Mary Ashleigh Pendergrast of Oklahoma City, OK, Natalie Elizabeth Wilbourne of Oxford, Taylor Heath Williams of Oxford and Mia Grace Williams of Oxford; great grandchildren, Julianne and Aubree of Oklahoma City, OK. EJ was preceded ineeath by a sister, Sandra Hart Wallace and a brother Lynwood Taylor Hart.
