OXFORD: Mrs. Elizabeth McGee "Lib" Currin age 80 of 6206 Hebron Road died Monday September 15, 2008 at her daughters home in Farmville NC. She was a native of Granville Co. and the daughter of the late Walter aneerma Bowling McGee. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church and a choir member. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 P. M. Wednesday September 17, 2008 from Enon Baptist Church by the Rev. James C. Shelley Jr. Burial will follow in Church Cemetery. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Annette C. Byrd, of Woodbridge, Va. and Mrs. Wanda C. Hancock, of Farmville, NC. Three sisters, Lou Oakley and Sarah Shropshire, both of Oxford. and Marlene Ayers, of Stokesdale NC. One brother, Wade McGee, of Goldsboro, NC. Two Grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM Tuesday at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home, 503 College Street, Oxford, NC and at other times at the home.
