Estrella Marced Vega

Estrella Marced Vega Arista, 94, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 3rd. Mrs. Vega was a longtime teacher at the Wallace-Rosehill High School. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Luis R. Vega and son, Francis Vega. Surviving are: two sons, Luis Vega of Falls Church, VA aneenrique Vega of Rutherfordton; two daughters in law, Susaneega of Falls Church, VA. and Cindy Vega of Chapel Hill; four grandchildren aneeight great-grandchildren. The family will be present 5:00 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 1113 West Main St., Durham. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Church in Durham. Father Bruce Bavinger, S.J. will officiate. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
