Eugenia M. Ladd

Eugenia M. Ladd died Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Duke Medical Center. She was born in Durham to the late Willie E. and Servada Barbee Massey. A longtime member of Carr Uneed Methodist Church, Mrs. Ladd retired from Duke Uneersity where she worked as a secretary for the dean of the school's Physics Dept. Mrs. Ladd is survived by her son, Richard C. Ladd, II and wife, Debbie, of Rocky Mount, NC; her sister, Dorothy Parsons of Rock Hill, SC; two grandchildren: Kyle Ladd and Allison Ladd, both of Raleigh, NC; and neerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Calvin. Graveside services will be held 12:00 PM Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Maplewood Cemetery, Section 2, with the Reverend Roberta Byram presiding. Friends may visit with the family following the graveside.
