Eulene Davis Woody

Eulene Davis Woody, 79, of Durham died Friday, April 15, 2011 at Durham Regional Hospital. A native of Clay County, NC she was the daughter of the late Clifford Dean Davis aneevelyn Hogsed Davis. Eulene graduated from Knoxville General Hospital in 1955 as a registered nurse. She worked at the VA Hospital in Durham for 30 years. Eulene was a member of First Baptist Church for 51 years and very active in the Joy Sunday School Class. Eulene is survived by her husband of 53 years, Mac Woody, daughter, Beth Murphy and husband, Lee of Chapel Hill; sons, Tim Woody and wife, Dawn of Apex; Mark Woody and wife, Janee of Salisbury; sister, Margaret Davis Ezzard of Otto, NC; grandchildren, Davis and Ben Murphy, Zachary Woody and wife, Breanna, Caleb, Hanna and Macy Woody. She was preceded ineeath by a brother, Lawrence Dean Davis. Friends may visit Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 1113 W. Main Street, Durham. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, April 18, 2011 at First Baptist Church, 414 Cleveland Street, Durham, NC 27701 with Dr. Aneew Davis and Rev. Andy Winn officiating.
