Frances Ellis Garrett Clement

Frances Ellis Garrett Clement, age 90, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2018, a beautiful Easter Sunday, at Carillon Assisted Living in Huntersville, NC.?? Frances was born in Durham, N.C. on October 2, 1927, and graduated from Durham High School, having played basketball and volleyball there.?? She married her late husband, Adineee Clement, on June 6, 1959.?? Lee and Frances built a wonderful life for themselves and their two children in Durham.?? Frances retired from Wachovia Bank after many years of service and theneetired a second time from the Durham County Public School System.?? Frances and Lee were loving and dedicated parents, grandparents, church members (Trinity Avenue Presbyterian Church) and members of the Durham community.?? Frances always took time to get to know and truly care about all of the people she encountered, showing kineess and compassion as a daily habit. Surviving Frances are her son, Tim Clement and his wife, Cynthia (Frances??? ???daughter-in-love???) (Marietta, GA), their two sons, Will Clement (???Busy Will???) and his fianc??e, Alexis Jumper (Atlanta, GA), and Alex Clement and his wife, Emi Clement (Augusta, GA), and daughter, Elizabeth Coss, and her husband, David Coss (Frances??? ???son-in-love???) (Huntersville, NC) and their two sons, Matthew Coss (College Park, MD) and Michael Coss (Chapel Hill, NC) (the ???M and Ms???).?? Frances was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Lee. Family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 12:00 pm?? to 1:00 pm at the Chapel at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home, 1113 W. Main Street, Durham, NC 27701.?? Funeral services will be held at the Hall-Wynne Chapel at 1:00 pm.?? Private interment service for the family will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, 1621 Duke Uneersity Rd, Durham, NC 27701. The family wishes to express their immense gratitude to all of the staff at Croasdaile Village Retirement Community, Durham, NC, Carillon Assisted Living, Huntersville, NC, and Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region, Charlotte, NC for their compassionee care and love of Frances.??
