Frances Sugg Morgan

Frances Sugg Morgan, age 90, died Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at Croasdaile Village. A Durham native, Frances was the widow of the late Joe A. Morgan, Sr. and the daughter of the late John H. and Ola Cash Sugg. She was a graduate of Durham High School and the Watts School of Nursing. After her graduation, she worked as a private duty nurse in Durham until moving to Columbia, SC. While living in Columbia, she organeed the first senior Girl Scout Troop and served as their leader for two years. In 1946, she relocated to Houston, TX, where she attended the Uneersity of Texas and became active ineer church, and several community and civic organizations. After a long absence, she returned to nursing in 1969 at St. Luke
